Some of the World’s Most Amazing Trucks
Trucks… most of us are not very fond of them as we find ourselves stuck behind them regularly in the traffic. Of course they are essential to many businesses, so you better get used to them, but, what if designers gave them a little more of the awesome factor? Modern trucks have changed over the years and have adapted to the multiple uses of society. Trailer manufacturers bring out different trailers for every need and rollbacks for heavy duty car lifting have been added to AA companies for that extra help. Interestingly enough, people took these plain and everyday trucks and made them awesome! Maybe, just maybe, we would be more accepting if the truck in front of us had something unique about it. For this reason, I have scoured the internet to find some of the most amazing trucks in the world. Not all of them are the traditional 18-wheelers that you are thinking about – I thought I’d just mix it up a little:
• Gunfighter:
This amazing truck, based on a Scania R620, was the proud winner of the Nordic Trophy in 2010 and is owned by Mika Auvinen of Finland. It received the title of best truck at the Elmia Truck Show and boasts extraordinary art-work across the entire tanker. This unique vehicle is an imposing figure and one you certainly wouldn’t mind seeing on your next journey.
• Bigfoot 5:
The largest and heaviest monster truck in the world, Bigfoot 5′s biggest feature is its gigantic Firestone tyres. These 10 foot tall Firestone Tundra tyres will crush anything that gets in their way. The moral of the story here: if a 1996 pickup truck with 10-foot wheels appears in your rear view mirror – stop your car, grab your valuables, get out and cheer wildly as you watch your vehicle get flattened.
• Liebherr T 282B:
You’ll never see this giant on the highway, but if you somehow find yourself in the middle of a construction site, check out the Liebherr T 282B. This is the largest and highest payload capacity haul truck and is more like a construction office on wheels. This truck is so big, that it cannot EVER travel on public roads. If you buy one, it needs to be delivered in parts before being built at your construction site.
• Mister Cartoon’s Ice-cream Truck:
Finally, a truck that brings people joy and forms a part of their childhood memories. This one, however, comes with the added style and bling that one would expect from Mister Cartoon. Funky graphics, custom wheels and loads of chrome ensure that customers will be lining up around the block to view its unique look while enjoying refreshing ice-cream.
